Summary
WalkPaper does not collect, transmit, or store personal data or analytics on any server. All processing happens locally on the device.
What the app does locally
Reads on-device step/activity sensor data (when you grant the device permission) to render step-driven wallpapers. All sensor data is used only on-device.
Stores settings and preferences locally (SharedPreferences / local files).
May keep local logs for debugging; logs remain on-device.
Permissions
The app may request runtime permission(s) required to read step or activity data (for example, ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION on supported Android versions). Permissions are only used to enable local wallpaper features and are optional — you can decline and the app will gracefully disable related features.
The app does not request network-related permissions for data collection.
Purchases
In-app purchases (pro features) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store payment card data.
What we DO NOT do
We do not send step data, device identifiers, logs, preferences, or any user data to any backend, third party, analytics, or advertising service.
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
We do not sell, share, or monetize your data.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not collect personal data from children.
Data removal & security
Uninstalling the app removes locally stored data. For any residual support requests, contact us.
Local data is protected by standard Android platform safeguards. No data is transmitted by the app.
Changes & updates
This policy may be updated. Important changes will be posted on this page; the effective date will be updated accordingly.
