• Pets / Companion Animals: low-cost spay/neuter assistance, pet-food drives, building and donating feral-cat shelters and insulated doghouses, and much more.
• Wildlife: supporting Vermont’s licensed wildlife rehabilitators by providing cages, medical supplies, bedding, food, and other resources for injured or abandoned wildlife, as well as offering humane solutions for human/wildlife conflicts when animals find their way into homes or gardens.
• Farmed Animals: rescue and rehabilitation of sick or injured chicks, ducklings, goslings, and hatchling turkeys from farm-and-feed stores; educating people about the negative aspects of factory farming; and providing emergency funds to local farmed-animal rescues.
• Advocacy: promoting humane alternatives to the use of animals for fashion and apparel; experimentation for product or cosmetic testing; and entertainment at circuses, zoos, and fairs.
