William Rivers (born 1910) was the Mayor of Walker Creek County from 1948 to 1956. He was a human and was the 5th mayor of Walker Creek County. He lived his early life as a WCPD officer, before joining the Council and later running for Mayor.
He focused on preserving the old way of life while simultaneously introducing new technologies. The Walker Creek Broadcast Station was one of the technological advancements he sponsored, as well as introducing new phone lines across Walker Creek. He also focused on growing the economy of Walker Creek in multiple different ways while the Carter Company continued to expand outside of the county. The final thing Mayor Rivers was known for was community outreach, as he was very popular among residents. However, this did not save him from losing the 1956 election. Mayor Rivers was overall an unimportant mayor. However, he was easily influenced by us and was very useful in his tenure.
