Issac Smithy (Born 1885) was second-in-command to Andy Richard's Militia. Initially it was formed to investigate the 1902 Mine Collapse, which the pair thought was an intentional act of aggression from Native Americans. Smithy took over the Militia in 1904 after Richards was jailed for causing a fight between settlers and natives. He returned to his second-in-command position in 1905 when Richards was released. The militia was officially disbanded in 1908 under threat of treason, but it was reformed in 1909 with the aim of destroying the Hosted. Smithy was again second-in-command. During a skirmish in 1910 between four Hosted and seven militia members, Smithy was killed.
