The Desensitization Program from 1988-1990 was an effort by The Tour Guide and Alan Brown to desensitize residents to our existence and our habits via TV Programs on the Walker Creek Broadcast Station. Luke Delor was a part of this effort. The goal was to lead them to either believe that it was completely false, or simply stop caring. This actually did work significantly, and led to greater ease in carrying out our plans such as gathering new Hosts. Alan Brown's "Walker Creek Education" initiative was a major part of this. However, the desensitization did not work on certain residents such as David Trenson's rebel group, instead bringing our existence to their attention. This was also part of the plan, meant to draw out problematic residents. Any of those resisting us were eliminated.
We stopped the program in 1990 after the 1989 Harvest Festival as we saw no need to continue after its completion.
