Dr. David Pat Boyle is a professional social worker and social work educator who has worked in local community mental health centers and taught a the University of Georgia and Dalton State College. He was born and raised in rural Walker County and graduated from La Fayette High School. He volunteers on several community boards and believes in social and economic justice for all. He has chosen to live in Walker County because of its scenic beauty, hospitable people, and healthy environment. Plus, he is just an old hillbilly who is more comfortable in the hills.

Stan Porter is a retired Banker having spent 26 years. He also retired after 25 years in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. Stan has served on Numerous boards in Walker County such as the chamber of Commerce, Georgia Northwestern Tech College, Hutcheson Medical Center and several others.

He is a lifelong resident of Walker County graduating from LaFayette High School.

Julia Sexton moved to Walker county in 1968. She has two children. She worked as office manager for Murphy Industries before joining her husband in their Construction Company. Julia has also: Chaired Mountain View Recreation center and coached girls softball for five years; Chaired Family and Children service board; Chaired Walker County planning commission; Chairman of Walker County Democratic Committee; and served on both State and County chairs committee delegate to state convention.

Mike Rasbury is a lifelong Democrat. With a background in Vocational Rehabilitation, he has worked with the disabled community for almost 50 years. He is a graduate of UGA and is retired military. He has a passionate interest in voting rights.
