Walker County Democrats’ next general meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, at the La Fayette Library, 305 S. Dke St., La Fayette, GA 30728. The meeting will be a caucus to elect post holders and representatives to the state convention. The public is invited.

Information on candidates (The county party cannot recommend in a primary race. May 19 is a primary to choose top candidates to run in November 3 election).  Shawn Harris (congress) and Jack Zibluk (state senate) are the only Democratic candidates in their races.  They will automatically be on the ballot in November to run against the Republicans chosen in this primary.
