We arrived at Tywyn and I was an hour and a half early for the train, so we had a quick walk around the town, then beach where I set up the drone. We had a coffee and a cake near the train station, then caught the train at 9.29am to LLwyngwril, The weather forcast said a slight chance of drizzle in the morning, sunny by 10am. It rained as we got off the train and drizzle and light rain with a few heavier showers lasted until 11am, we got soaked, but soon dried off on this windy day in the hills. It started to brighten up at around 11am. The first half of the walk was hilly, with a steep climb out of Llwyngwril then down again, then up a bit, down a bit, another hill climb before descending back to the A493, once we crossed the road, the walk thereafter was pretty flat. We continued to Tywyn, stopping for an ice cream before heading home. The plan is to explore Tywyn a bit more on our next visit as we are doing a short walk to Aberdovey on the next one which looks mainly along the beach
