We caught the train back to Harlech which dropped us off next to the Wales Coast Path where we immediately began our walk down to Harlech Beach, as we headded onto the beach, we walk along the beach to the far end where you leave and negotiate the only hill on this section of the walk. Crossing the railway tracks and taking the steps which zig zag back up to the main road between Barmouth and Harlech. You are treated of some amazing views near the top. A short walk along the road and you leave for the village of Llandanwg where you will find a medieval church, beach, coffee shop and nature reserve, along with public toilets and a small car park. We head back to the main road near Pensarn and then another off road detour to Talybont, with a long beach walk at Shell Island as well as walking around the site of RAF Llanbedr. We leave the beach and pass through farmland to Talybont, finishing the walk near the railway station.
