We arrived at Harlech with just over half an hour to spare before our 8,25am train was due. I had spotted a few car parks the evening before and headed to the one that looked near the railway station. Upon arriving I realised this car park was up a steep hill and after finishing our walk we would have to walk up here, so decided on another car park nearer the beach that looked further away but was a flat walk. We parked up and made our way to the railway station, It was around 10 past 8 and we could hear the train coming, so we ran along the lane, worried that ifwe missed this train there would not be another for two to three hours, we ran and ran and was surprised when we arrived on the platform puffing and panting that the train was still there. I could not get my breath or words out to the conductor who stood on the platform. Apparently the train arrives early but does not leave the station until 8.25. Oh how we laughed, three days later. It was a pleasant train ride, passing many little request stop stations to Porthmadog, then a walk through the town to pick up the trail again, stopping off at Greg's along the way for a coffee and cherry bakewell muffin. We continued on the walk, which was mostly flat with some scenic views along the way. Starting our walk just after 9am, and arriving back at Harlech at around 3pm. There was lots of stops along the way, for lunch and filming. The drone went up three separate times on this walk.
