Car Parks at Nefyn and Trefor Beach

We set off early and arrived at Nefyn at around 8am. We headed to a car park that looked a little full. So headed for a second one which was fine. Then made the short walk to the bus stop to catch the number 8 but to Pwhelli. The bus was only 8 minutes away so after parking it was change into our walking boots and dash up the road to catch the bus. One of the friendliest busses I had ever been on, with the driver and locals talking to us about our coast walk. Once at Pwllheli Bus Station the number 12 bus was only a few minutes away, but as it was raining we decided to wait for the next bus (1 hour later) we headed for a well known coffee shop for some early morning relaxation. I had not checked the weather the night before like I usually do and it was to be drizzle all morning. We made our way to the bus station and caught a later No 12 bus which got us to Trefor at 10am. Then we retraced our steps from our last walk to make our way back onto the coast path. The first part was up the rivals, a good 45 minutes of uphill in the wind and rain before we reached a part that seemed to level out. it was misty up the way and we did not get to see the amazing views we have seen in so many other coast path videos. Then after a while we headed down the steep road to Nant Gwrtheyrn, we were lucky to find the cafe open. So another coffee and short break from the drizzle before continuing down to the beach and old quarry buildings. Then we realised we would have to go back up. Still not completely over our first climb we were soon back up, a much steeper walk up that I was not fully prepared for. Once at the top, that was the worst over with, there were a few more slight ups and downs on this section but nothing like these two climbs. A well signposted section I only went slightly wrong once. Once at Nefyn we were too tired to explore so headed back home.
