This was the first time since our holiday we had driven to Anglesey on a day trip to walk some more Wales Coast path. A very early start had us parked up in the car park at Cemaes Bay at around 8.15am. Once we arrived to catch a bus, I looked on google maps, and it was saying the bus was due in 3 minutes, we made a dash for the bus stop on the High Street, just as we got there the bus was approaching. That was a stroke of luck I thought, as google maps say the busses were only once an hour. We were much luckier than I had anticipated as after a conversation with the bus driver, he explained that there were only three busses running that day, and that they were all early. We departed the bus at Amlwch recreational grounds (Opposite the Co-Op) and made the short walk to Port Amlwch where we once again picked up the trail. Heading away from the Port, up through a park and then some fields until we once again reached the coast, there were a few small rocky outcrops and a small hill to walk up on the way to Bull Bay. Just before Bull bay after a stunning walk along the coastline the path lead us up onto a road and we had a short walk along the main road to the beautiful village of Porth Llechog (Bull Bay). Then the path gets more rugged again, it was not long before we reached Porth Wen, a large bay we had to head around and passing the site of the old Porth Wen Brickworks, we had to make time for a quick explore. (Unfortunately my camera played up here and I did not realise until I got home, tso there is some wobbly footage) Then up and the coast path was unforgiving, firstly in parts it was like we walking on a ledge, then the big hills came, two large dips down to the sea level and back up again. A lovely beach was found at the old China Works, and we eventually made it to Cemaes, just before the end the gopro batteries and chargers all dies so I had to film the last bit of the walk on the phone. It was the most tiring section we had walked of the coast path to date, the ice creams were very welcome at Cemaes Bay. Then for the drive home. We spotted dolphins for the first time along the way and a seal. The views were amazing and we loved every minute of this walk even though on tired legs.

Starting at the bottom of Quay Street facing the end of the harbour, at ///universes.flagging.upholding face the harbour and there are three paths in front of you, take the path to your left, DO NOT go up the steps, but continue along the path although it looks like an access path to a brick shed building.
