Privacy Policy

Walabok LLC ("we," "us," or "our") developed Speech to Text+ (the "App") as a commercial service available on the Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App. By downloading, installing, or using Speech to Text+, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Speech to Text+ is designed with your privacy in mind. We want to be transparent about what we do not do:
We do not collect, store, or have access to your voice recordings. All speech recognition is performed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in Speech framework (SFSpeechRecognizer). Your audio never leaves your device and is never transmitted to Walabok LLC or any third-party server.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your notes or transcriptions. All notes you create are stored locally on your device and, if you choose to enable iCloud Sync (a Premium feature), within your personal iCloud account. Walabok LLC does not operate any servers that receive, store, or process your content.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials. Speech to Text+ does not require account registration.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
2. Information Collected Automatically
While we do not directly collect personal information, the App integrates the following third-party services that may automatically collect certain data:
a. Google AdMob (Advertising)
For users on the free tier, the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the following information: device type and model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers, or IDFA), IP address, general location data (at the city or region level, derived from IP address), ad interaction data (impressions, taps), and app usage data. This data is used by Google to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. When you upgrade to Speech to Text+ Premium, all advertisements are permanently removed and AdMob ceases data collection.

b. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics
The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand general usage patterns (such as which features are most popular) and Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix bugs. Firebase may collect: device type and model, operating system version, app version, crash logs and stack traces, general usage statistics (session duration, screen views), and a Firebase installation ID (an anonymous identifier). This data is collected in aggregate and anonymized form. It does not include the content of your notes, your voice recordings, or any personally identifying information.

3. Apple App Store and Subscription Data
All subscription purchases and financial transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. Walabok LLC does not collect, process, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials. Apple may share limited transaction information with us (such as whether a subscription is active), but this does not include your financial details. 4. iCloud Sync
If you are a Premium subscriber and enable iCloud Sync, your notes are synced across your devices using your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your private iCloud container, which is encrypted and accessible only to you. Walabok LLC cannot read, access, or retrieve any data stored in your iCloud account.
5. On-Device Speech Recognition
Speech to Text+ uses Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer framework for speech-to-text conversion. All speech processing occurs locally on your device. Apple may process some speech data on its servers depending on your device model, iOS version, and your device's language settings; however, this is governed entirely by Apple's own privacy practices and is outside Walabok LLC's control. 6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Speech to Text+ does not use cookies. However, third-party SDKs embedded in the App (such as Google AdMob and Firebase) may use similar tracking technologies, including mobile advertising identifiers and device fingerprinting, to collect data as described in Section 2. You may limit ad tracking on your device by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iOS device and disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track."
7. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services. These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, practices, or data handling. We strongly recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
8. Data Retention
Because Walabok LLC does not collect or store your personal data, notes, or voice recordings on any server, there is no data to retain or delete on our end. Data collected by third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase) is subject to their respective data retention policies. Your notes exist only on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled), and you may delete them at any time from within the App.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. All notes stored on your device benefit from iOS's built-in hardware encryption. iCloud data is encrypted both in transit and at rest by Apple. However, no electronic storage or transmission method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Speech to Text+ is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App or its third-party services, please contact us immediately at walabokllc@gmail.com, and we will take prompt steps to address the situation.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing. Since Walabok LLC does not collect or store personal data on its servers, most of these rights are exercised through Apple (for iCloud and App Store data) or Google (for advertising and analytics data). You may: disable iCloud Sync at any time within the App's settings; limit ad tracking through your iOS device settings; request deletion of Firebase analytics data by contacting us; and upgrade to Premium to eliminate all advertising and associated data collection.
12. International Users
Speech to Text+ is available worldwide. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information collected by third-party services (Google AdMob, Firebase) may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
13. California Residents (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information. As Walabok LLC does not sell personal information and does not directly collect personal data beyond what is described in this policy, your rights are primarily exercisable through the third-party services listed above. 14. European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. The App obtains your consent before third-party advertising services collect data (through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework). You may withdraw consent at any time through your device settings.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
