Wake Up Ithaca
Who are we?
Wake Up Ithaca is a peer-facilitated meeting of young adults in our 20s & 30s interested in practicing mindfulness. We gather twice a month to create a refuge of peace, joy, and sanity for each other. We share a determination to live in an awakened way and to realize the path of understanding and love so that we can help build a healthier and more compassionate society. Beginners are always welcomed. Meetings are free. Donations are gratefully accepted to support our rent.
Wake Up Ithaca is part of a Wake Up International, global community of young mindfulness practitioners, aged 18-35+, inspired by the teachings of Zen teacher and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh.
