Cherif/Samandi DUO
Born from a musical encounter that dates back more than 20 years, when they were the opening act for American saxophonist Archie Shepp at the Theater of the City of Tunis, W. Cherif and H. Samandi have since shared the stage in various national and international events. The duo interprets original compositions and jazz standards arranged for this format, while delivering an unpredictable and spontaneous performance that incorporates diverse musical styles, including African, Latin, and occasional touches of Arabic music."
