Bluebird House Web Cameras

In the winter of 2020, we began installing bluebird houses with cameras on the school grounds. With this community focused project, we partnered with members of Michigan Bluebird Society and the Grand Rapids Audubon Club to help our students design and assemble to right birdhouses to attract bluebirds. Students across multiple grade levels worked collaboratively to assemble, install, observe, and collect data from the bird houses as birds moved in and began building nests. We will continue to monitor the houses through 2020 and into the return of bird in the late winter of 2021.
