For more than 7 decades, Waidspital Medical Center has served the families of Waidspital and nearby communities. We offer emergency room services, comprehensive diagnostic imaging and a variety of medical services within our Waidspital hospital.

With over 575 beds, Waidspital Medical Center features a medical staff of more than 103 physicians and nurses, trained in more than 25 medical specialties. Our team includes experts in cardiology, family medicine, women’s health, sleep medicine, urology and more.

Federally-designated as a Critical Access Hospital, Waidspital Medical Center has grown to serve communities in a 20+ mile radius. Waidspital Medical Center provides emergency medical care, in-patient hospital services, and outpatient testing and services.

Waidspital Medical Center has received several recognitions for contributions to the health and development of residents and communities in their Zurich service area.

Visits restriction

Masks must be worn in the clinics, even by those who have been vaccinated. Masks are available at all reception points in the clinic.

If a patient is admitted and needs to be accompanied, he/she can only do so with one person.

For hospitalized patients, visits are authorized from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the rate of two people per day and per patient, without the possibility of meals or snacks in the room.

Our restaurant is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. every day, with the current protective measures of the OFSP.

With over 900 births annually, Waidspital Maternity Clinic is one of the most experienced maternity clinics in the Zurich area. With us you can expect a familiar and cozy atmosphere for a personal setting for your birth and the time with your baby in the puerperium. Our clinic is easily accessible by car and public transport. It offers a beautiful view of the city as well as a view of the mountains.

Over the past 10 years, the surgeons and nursing staff of the Waidspital hospital in Switzerland have developed great confidence in the quality of Mölnlycke®’s range of products.
