Policies and Procedures
Scheduling
All walks and drop-in visits must be booked at least 2 days in advance. Services are offered Monday through Friday 11-3.
Cancellation Policy
Services must be canceled with at least 2 hours notice in order to not be charged, if canceled within 2 hours of the appointment time you will be charged the full service price.
Meet & Greet
Before the first service I require a meet and greet, this will let us get to know each other and see how your pet takes to me. Every animal has its own personality and so do we humans, we want to make sure it’s a good fit all the way around. The meeting can happen at your home or at a neutral location, however, if the meeting is not at your home a second meeting will have to take place there before the first walk or drop in visit is scheduled. There is no charge for this and after the meeting either party is within their rights to not move forward with the service.
Arrival Time
Arrival time will be within 5 minutes of the booked time, it could be 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after. For example if you have a dog walk booked at 12:30 arrival time will be anywhere from 12:25 – 12:35, the service will start at time of arrival.
Puppy Rates
We all love puppies, but they can be troublemakers sometimes. There is no base increase on puppy services, but if they have had an accident in the house i.e. potty accident or gotten into the trash can, there will be an added $2 dollar charge to clean up after them. Once the puppy reaches 12 months, they will be exempt from this charge unless it is an ongoing problem.
Equipment Use
You are required to provide a collar/harness and leash for walks, and a water bowl as well as whatever toys your dog likes for a drop in visit.
Payment
All services are $18, if a drop in visit or walk is booked for more than one animal $4 is added per additional pet. Payment will be due on the Friday the week that services are provided. Payment is accepted through Square, cash or check.
Behavior Expectations
Dogs are expected not to be aggressive towards me or others that we might see during a walk or visit. Behaviors such as barking or pulling are acceptable to a certain degree, but I am within my rights to cut a walk or visit short if the behavior gets out of control.
