Where: On Monday through Thursday the Workshop will take place in SISSA’s Main Building in the Opicina Campus, while on Friday it will be hosted by the Institute for Geometry and Physics. The latter is located in SISSA’s Miramare Campus,  whose address is Via Beirut 2-4, Trieste.  

How to get there: 

The Opicina Campus may be reached from downtown by bus No. 38, whose terminus is in Piazza Oberdan. The bus No. 38 timetable is available here  https://www.triestetrasporti.it/it/trasporto-pubblico/linee-orari/linea-38

The Miramare campus is reachable from downtown by bus (No. 6). The bus No. 6 timetable is available here https://www.triestetrasporti.it/it/trasporto-pubblico/linee-orari/linea-6

Travel information: For traveling to Trieste we recommend you to use either the local Trieste airport, international Venice airport or the low-cost Treviso airport.

Trieste airport is located about 40 km from dowtown. From there you can take a train to Trieste Centrale, a local bus, or use a limo service (GoOpti). Info about travel from Trieste airport is available at https://triesteairport.it/en/

From Venice airport, direct connection to Trieste is provided by Flixbus buses or limo service (GoOpti). Alternatively you can take a ATVO bus to Venezia Mestre rail station + train to Trieste Centrale. For info about trains and ticket purchase see http://www.trenitalia.com.

Treviso airport is a hub for low cost airlines and has connections to some European cities. From it you can travel to Trieste by train, bus or GoOpti.
