Roots & Shoots Course Outline:

In this exciting program, young students of all ages learn to care for people, animals, and the environment by doing hands-on activities and engaging with nature to better understand how they can make a difference to the world around them!

Example Activities and the theme of the semester will be on UPCYCLING  to help people, animals, and the environment:

• Farmers’ Market

• Eco-friendly beeswax candles

• Upcycled crayons

• Eco-friendly Lip balm with beeswax

• DIY hand sanitizer

• Upcycled mosquito fish terrarium

• Decorative art poster on local mosquito fish

• Upcycle a pond with mosquito fish

• Greenhouse seedling planting

• DIY mixed nuts

• DIY Cocao chocolate making

• Eco-friendly mosquito ointment

• Eco-friendly soap

• Tree seedling donation to other schools
