THE BRANDYWINE BOW PROJECT

The Bow Project is a joint endeavor between makers and musicians to create both audibly and visually appealing concerts involving stringed instruments. The main components of the project involve electronics, coding and 3D printing. With a wide selection of sensory inputs and colorful outputs, there are limitless opportunities for never before seen and heard arrangements. THE NORMAL PROJECT

For the physics teacher maker, the Normal Project centers on a tiny device that gives a visual display of the normal force for use in a wide range of physics demonstrations. In the spirit of design it - make it - test it - take it, participants will learn how to wire, solder, and program a mini micro controller to read live data from an accelerometer and display it on an LED matrix. Participants will also 3D design and 3D print the housing for the apparatus.
