Cathedral Peak

Timeline:
5:30: Take-off from Palo Alto airport.
6:30: Land in Mammoth Lakes airport.
8:00: Depart from Cathedral Lakes trailhead (approach through Budd Creek).
9:05: Arrive at the base of the Southeast Buttress.
9:30: Climb begins.
12:20: Summit of Cathedral Peak.
14:15: Arrive back on the trail (return through JMT / Cathedral Lakes Trail), after descending the benches below Eichorn Pinnacle's West Pillar. Rain, hail and thunder start shortly before we reach the trail.
15:10: Arrive back at the car.
15:30: Lunch at Whoa Nellie Deli
17:45: Take-off from Mammoth Lakes airport
18:45: Land in Palo Alto airport.
