Kevin W. Bowyer

Dr. Kevin Bowyer is the Schubmehl-Prein Family Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame. He has served as EIC of the IEEE Transactions on Biometrics, Behavior, and Identity Science and the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, as well as serving on the editorial boards of a number of other journals. Professor Bowyer has served as General Chair or Program Chair of conferences such as Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), Winter Conference on Applications of Computer Vision (WACV), and Face and Gesture Recognition (FG), and is one of the founding General Chairs of the Biometrics Theory, Applications and Systems (BTAS) and International Joint Conference on Biometrics (IJCB) conference series. Larry Davis

Dr. Larry Davis is a Senior Principal Scientist in Amazon’s Fashion organization. He joined Amazon in 2018 after a long career in academics. He received his Ph. D. from the University of Maryland in 1975 and from 1977-1981 was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas in Austin. He returned to the University of Maryland in 1981 and was the founding Director of the University’s Institute for Advanced Computer Studies (1985-1994). He also served as Chair of the Department of Computer Science from 2000-2012. Larry retired from the University in 2021 and is now a Professor Emeritus and a College Park Professor. He advised more than 75 Ph. D. students at Texas and Maryland. His work spanned many aspects of computer vision, including applications in visual navigation, robotic vision, media forensics, remote sensing, and fashion and fundamental problems of object detection and activity recognition. Zongyi (Joe) Liu

Dr. Zongyi Liu is a principal computer vision scientist at Amazon. He received his Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from University of South Florida in 2004. He has over 15 years of industrial research experience in computer vision, image processing, and signal processing. He has more than 20 scientific publications in prestigious conferences and journals including CVPR and PAMI, and he also has filed more than 10 patents. Yarong Feng

Dr. Yarong Feng is a data scientist at Amazon. She received her Ph.D. in Statistics from the George Washington University in 2017. Her research interests include: probability theory, random graphs, audio signal processing, computer vision, and deep learning. She has published at and reviewed for several peer-reviewed journals.
