At the Western Area Career & Technology Center Student Salon, all services are performed by students, supervised by licensed instructors, Allison Scaife and Jodie Cowden. Although many students are at different levels in their training all students have been trained, per state board requirements, before performing services to the public. Services are available by appointment only. Service charges are for the reasonable cost of materials only. Hours and services are based on student availability. We greatly value our clients as they provide a valuable experience to our students, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as our students improve their skills and techniques.
All prices are for the cost of materials and are subject to change depending on product usage.
All work in the school is completed by the students as a learning opportunity. We ask our clients to be patient and kind as all of the students are still learning.
Hair Styling
Hair services include: coloring, highlighting, baylayage, cutting, styling, conditioning treatments and much more.
Nail Technology
Nail services include: manicures, gel manicures, dip polish, pedicures and gel pedicure treatments.
Skincare & Waxing
Skin care services include: facials, deluxe facials and facial waxing.
