Public Transport
Copenhagen is well-connected by public transport, which includes city buses, metro, and inter-city rail. To purchase tickets, you can use the Rejsebillet app or the DSB app. Public transport is a bit expensive in Copenhagen, and getting a city pass (which can be bought for anywhere between 1 day to 5 days) might be a good idea.
See https://www.publictransport.dk/ for more information on public transport. You can also purchase city passes or travel cards from 7/11 stores.
By Bus: You can use the Rejsebillet app to purchase tickets and find route/schedule for buses in Copenhagen.
Note: Contrary to many other cities, tickets CANNOT be bought on the buses. You need to purchase them BEFORE you board the bus (you can use the Rejsebillet app for it). For metro and inter-city rails, tickets can be purchased from either vending machines at the stations or from the Rejsebillet app.
By Metro: The closest metro station to the venue is Islands Brygge St., which is on the M1 Metro Line (Green). From the city center (near the central railway station) or Rådhuspladsen, you can take either M3 (Red) or M4 (Blue) Metro Line towards Kongens Nytorv, and change to M1 (Green) Line towards Vestamager. See this image for Copenhagen's metro map.

Biking around will also let you see Copenhagen more closely and make you feel like a local! There are several bike rental options in Copenhagen. Donkey Republic is one of the most popular ones to rent for a few hours or a day. Also, many hotels in Copenhagen have their own bikes that you can rent.
Note: Biking is also a typical mode of commute for many people in Copenhagen, and it is important to follow the biking guidelines for your and everyone else's safety. Please take a look at the guidelines here.
Currency
Copenhagen is a mostly cashless city, and you can use a debit/credit card or NFC almost everywhere. If you have any of them, you would be fine.
