USD Libraries' Data Science course offers learners foundational skills necessary to perform data analysis, create visualizations and dashboards using core Data Science tools, including R, Python, and Power BI. A Data Ready digital badge is awarded to learners upon completing the course and passing the assessments.

Students learn how to effectively search for credible sources, evaluate the reliability of information, and ethically use it in academic and professional contexts. These skills support critical thinking and lifelong learning.
