Question: Is swim team like swim lessons?
Answer: Although your child will learn how to swim the basic strokes properly, swim team is not the same as swim lessons. Your child must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping before they join the swim team.
Question: How old does my child have to be to start swim team?
Answer: Swimmers must be able to swim the length of the pool (25 yards) without assistance. As soon as your child can do that, he or she can join swim team.
Question: Do we have to swim in every meet?
Answer: You can swim in as many or as few meets as you wish. If you sign up for a meet please make every effort to attend.
