Emails from Kayley McGhan Regarding Auction
I hope you all found some much needed rest after a successful state convention. This is a friendly reminder about auction items for our upcoming conference in Okanogan in June. When you come to registration on June 28th at the casino, the Tonasket FFA enclosed trailer will be parked outside and will hold the items safely until the auction.
Important Reminders:
Each district is asked to contribute one District Basket which may be included in either the live or silent auction.
District 7 is aiming to collect approximately 20–30 items for the live auction and 50–60 items for the silent auction.
We encourage you to think creatively—consider community partners who enjoy supporting agricultural education, students with unique or impressive skills, or alumni and booster groups who may be willing to contribute. Handmade items, specialty services, or unique experiences are all great additions.
When you email me, I would like a description of your item and a picture as soon as possible, please and thank you.
EXAMPLE: "SPOKANE INDIANS BASEBALL PACKAGE:" 4 BOX TICKETS, BASEBALL BAG, HAT, AND NECESSITIES FOR GAME NIGHT! (TO GET TICKETS EMAIL: XYZ.GMAIL.COM)
A HUGE shoutout to District 1 & 5 for being on top of it and giving me their basket information early. I would encourage you to get me this information as soon as possible. Right now, we only have about 12 items in total for the auction. If you would rather shoot me a text, my phone number is 509-948-2789.
