1. Information We Collect
WA Status Tool is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and screen resolution for compatibility
• Advertising Identifiers: Device advertising ID for Google AdMob ads
• Usage Data: Basic usage patterns stored locally on your device only
We do NOT collect: Your messages, contacts, personal photos, phone numbers, email addresses, or any personal identification information. No data is uploaded to any server.
2. No Account or Login Required
This app does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information. All features work immediately after installation.
3. Permissions & Why We Need Them
Storage / Media Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):
Required to read status media files from the .Statuses directory on device storage. Also used to save downloaded statuses and stickers to your Pictures directory. No files are uploaded.
Call Log Access (READ_CALL_LOG):
Required to display recent call history so users can pick a phone number for Direct Message without saving the contact. Call log data is never stored or transmitted.
Clipboard Access:
Used for paste in the Encrypt/Decrypt feature. Only accessed when you tap "Paste" — never automatically. Never stored or transmitted.
Camera (CAMERA):
Required for the Sticker Maker feature to capture selfies. Images are processed on-device only.
Internet (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE):
Required to load ads via AdMob and access online templates.
Query All Packages (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES):
Required to check if WA or WA Business is installed.
4. Third-Party Services
Google AdMob:
We use Google AdMob for advertisements. AdMob may collect device advertising ID, device info, approximate location, and cookies for ad targeting.

Local Storage Only:
All data is stored locally using SharedPreferences and the file system. No backend, no cloud storage, no analytics beyond AdMob.
5. Advertising Practices
• Banner Ads: Small ads at the bottom of screens
• Interstitial Ads: Full-screen ads after specific actions (never on exit or back navigation)
• Rewarded Ads: Optional video ads for bonus features (always opt-in)
Ad frequency: Max 3 interstitials per session, 90s cooldown, none within first 60s.
6. Data Storage & Security
All user data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain external servers or databases. No data is ever uploaded or shared.
7. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
• Opt out of personalized ads: Settings > Google > Ads
• Reset advertising ID: Settings > Google > Ads
• Delete local data: Uninstall the app
• Revoke permissions: Settings > Apps > WA Status Tool > Permissions
9. Data Retention
Data is stored locally only. Uninstalling the app removes all data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted with an updated date.
