1. Introduction

The Výdaje application (hereinafter "the App") is an expense and personal finance tracking tool. The App is operated by Michal Hrnčiřík (hereinafter "the Operator").

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.

2. Data We Collect

2.1  Google Account Information

If you sign in using your Google account, the App receives access to the following basic profile information:

•        Full name

•        Email address

•        Profile picture

This information is used solely to identify the signed-in user within the App.

2.2  Expense and Transaction Data

The App stores expense and income records that you enter manually (e.g. amounts, categories, notes, dates). This data is stored exclusively on your device or in your Google Drive account — never on third-party servers.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

The Výdaje App was designed with a strong focus on data security and privacy. Your financial data is stored exclusively in one of two places:

•        Locally on your device — data remains only in your phone’s storage and is never transmitted anywhere.

•        In your Google Drive — if you choose this option, data is saved directly to your own Google Drive account. The App only accesses files it has created itself (using the drive.file permission scope).

Your financial data is never stored, processed, or shared on any third-party servers or on the Operator’s servers.

4. Google Drive Access

If you choose to store data on Google Drive, the App requests the drive.file permission scope. This scope allows the App to:

•        Create files in your Google Drive (backups of your App data).

•        Read and modify only the files that the App itself has created.

The App does not have access to any other files in your Google Drive, your contacts, calendar, or any other Google account data beyond the scope described above.

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

Your personal information and financial data are not shared, sold, or transferred to any third parties. The App does not use any advertising networks, third-party analytics tools, or cloud servers operated by the Operator.

6. Data Security

We protect your data through the following measures:

•        Storing data exclusively on your device or directly in your Google account.

•        Using standard Android platform security mechanisms.

•        All communication with Google services is conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

7. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to:

•        Stop using the App and uninstall it from your device.

•        Revoke the App’s access to your Google account via your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com.

•        Delete files created by the App directly in your Google Drive.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

The Operator reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. You will be notified of changes by an updated effective date at the top of this document. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
