I am an Assistant Professor in Economics at Trinity College Dublin, a Research Affiliate of IM-TCD (International Macro-TCD), and a Research Associate of the Centre for Economics, Policy and History. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
I work on topics in macroeconomics, comparative economics, and economic history. My recent work in macroeconomics involves designing and testing interventions using randomized controlled trials to study how the macroeconomic expectations of households and firms influence their decision-making. In comparative economics and economic history, my research examines the role of socialist institutions and policies in shaping individual and aggregate outcomes.
