We know that you have many questions about the upcoming school year, and we appreciate your patience as we have worked diligently to ensure that we have a solid plan to effectively and safely deliver instruction and support for all of our students so they can grow socially and academically. Safety information
VVBLA is following safety guidelines from the Cuyahoga County Health Department and CDC to ensure students remain safe and in order to prepare for a safe school reopening.
Visitors are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Mrs. Savior and the main office at (216) 838-8900.
Only essential items may be dropped off at school.
All visitors are required to wear masks. Students are not allowed in the building at this time.
All learning spaces will be set up with appropriate social distancing.
All schedules have built in encore to provide appropriate reprieve from primary course instruction.
Lunches can be picked up from any k-8 school daily or a week's worth of food at all participating high school.

Student Schedules
Student schedules will be available through PowerSchool this Friday, August 28. Students' schedules can also be accessed in the documents tab on the Help Desks' home page. The times of each class vary between real time instruction with your sons' teacher and independent work time to accomplish tasks outlined by his teacher. What is an asynchronous day?
The VVBLA asynchronous day will be Wednesdays beginning on September 9. This means that students will not be required to be online with their teachers at a specific time on Wednesdays. There will be work for students on these days, but there will also be time for other activities. This may include recorded lessons, online resources, videos, practice assignments and other academic tasks. Teachers will also set blocks of time for individual help for students. In addition, teachers will also use Wednesdays for professional development, teacher team meetings, special education meetings and other critical tasks for ensuring that we are providing the best possible instruction and support for students throughout the school year.
Materials from Last Year
If a student still has any school-owned materials from last school year, they can schedule a date with the main office of the school to pick up these items.
Technology Devices
Students should charge their Chromebook or tablet and log on to ensure it is working properly prior to the start of school. Please make sure to have a fully-charged Chromebook or tablet for school every day. Students will receive their Chromebook or laptop as technology arrives in the school building. An electronic call will be go out informing parents and families of the technology arrival
