Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the Decision Sciences Area at Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam. Previously, I was a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Integrated Systems Engineering at The Ohio State University, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Güzin Bayraksan.
My research focuses on uncertainties in sequential decision-making problems, with a focus on multi-stage stochastic programs and constrained Markov decision processes. To tackle these challenges, I leverage advanced methodologies, including
sampling-based methods and scenario tree generation techniques for effectively modeling and approximating uncertainty in large-scale stochastic systems,
robust optimization to ensure resilience under uncertainty,
chance-constrained optimization to strike a balance between risk and reliability, and
distributionally robust optimization to address ambiguity in probability distributions.
Through these methodologies, my research aspires to develop innovative, scalable, and robust strategies for navigating complex and dynamic uncertain environments.
