We start our week by looking at what patterns are and how they are all around us! We will be making beaded name lanyards so campers can preserve the patterns that they find in nature forever! 

There is so much life that we can’t see! Let’s make a magnifying glass to help us discover the world right under our noses! 

Collecting leaves of different shapes and colours, campers will bring their findings to life using friction to create colourful leaf rubbings! Let's create lasting impressions from nature’s artwork!

Plants are all around us! We will be investigating the parts of a plant, what they need to grow and how they can help better our world through green roofs with our sustainable sponge buildings. Will yours sprout? 

Whether a person is moving a small feather or a machine is moving a big building, things are constantly moving! We are going to investigate how our bodies move compared to machines by constructing a mechanism that really comes in CLUTCH!

Get ready to discover the abilities of animals and how they thrive in nature! Campers will compare their talents to those of the animals around us in this interactive body break!

People and animals live all over the world in different places and environments. We will construct homes for animals based off their habitats and adventure through different environments right here at camp! 

From early in the morning to late at night, our world is powered by electricity! But why does a light turn on when we flip a switch? Campers will bring the basics of circuits to power their home’s in order to light their world. 

What are ways we communicate when we're not actually talking? After looking at how colours and pictures can be used, campers will experiment with visual communication to direct the traffic of the colour-sensing Sphero-Indi cars! 

Have you ever noticed how roofs often look different? They all look the way they do for a reason! Campers will get to learn why, and will build their own roofs to withstand all the different challenges thrown at them.

Energy is everywhere! From a shocking zap when touching a door handle to a big bolt of lightning during a storm! This electrifying demonstration will show the power of static electricity!   

The sun is a powerful source of energy, shining its light down on Earth every day! Let’s explore how this energy works and how we can use it in an Earth-friendly way by capturing sunlight to create beautiful artwork designs!

The curious mystery of water turning to ice, or ice turning to water, will be explained in a delicious experiment of the different states of matter! 

What are bubbles and how do they work? Why do they float through the air and stick side-by-side to each other? The science behind bubbles will POP in the following active, outdoor demonstration. 

Campers will explore outer space and discover astronomical facts of the planets! Then, they will use their knowledge to make solar system hats that are out of this world! 

Our last galactic activity will compare the powers of science fiction’s light sabers! From how they get their electric power, to how they make light and sound. Campers will learn about the force; the electric force!
