Though I have Ph.D in Information Security related domain, I have learned many new things in CISSP journey. It was a great experience. I have some tips for future test takers, and hope that they will be helpful.
Books:
All in One CISSP - Shanon Harris (Rating: 9/10)
Sybex CISSP (Rating: 8/10)
Practice questions:
-> Safari online is one of the best ways to practice questions. One can get a free (demo) account, and we can utilize this account for study purpose. I found following material on this website,
- CISSP Official (ISC)2 Practice Tests (Rating: 8/10)
- McGraw-Hill CISSP Practice Exams, Shon Harris (Rating: 8/10)
-> CCCure - 3 months 99 euros (Rating: 7/10)
Some other questions banks (I haven’t tried)
-> Boson - 99 euros unlimited
-> Transcender Test Questions
-> Sybex Test Questions
-> Total Tester
-> CISSP Exam Cram - questions
-> LearnZapp Cissp ISC2 app for my IPhone
-> studynotesandtheory.com
I strongly suggest to divide your time between reading material and practicing questions. It is suggested to practice the questions at least 50% of your time. The real exam questions are way different from CCCure, Boson or other practice questions. We can’t rely on any other dumps as well. I prepared for almost 3 months and have background in some chapters of CISSP syllabus. As far as I remembered from exam, try to emphasize on cloud security, federated identity management topics as well.
