By joining VUELA, you not only get access to free leadership training (from organization-making to simply getting involved), but also become a constituent in the development of a more united society. As long as you are eligible, you will be accepted; this program and organization are completely inclusive. Applications are on a rolling basis, meaning that you are allowed to join whenever you would like (no definitive application deadline), but it is recommended that you join as early in the school year as possible in order to receive full, adequate training and consulting. As a member, you are expected to commit to attending our monthly meetings, joining Google Classroom, follow us on social media (if you have it) to stay up-to-date, and communicate with the executive board when needed (especially when you are unable to attend a meeting). This is a community that will grant you access to networking and resources as well as enable you to make true impact and get involved with civic engagement, advocacy, and community service. By completing a full-year program, you will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible for additional awards as a dedicated member.
