Model UN is a 9-12 activity that competes yearly at St. Peter's University in Jersey City, NJ. Composed of nine committees, students research global issues, devise position papers, collaborate with their peers, and debate policy with more than 300 students. Advisers are Mr. Falkowski & Mr. DellaTorre.

Rho Kappa was founded in 2017-2018 in conjunction with the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). Membership is open to both juniors and seniors based on specific criteria from the VTSD Social Studies Department along with the NCSS. Inductions occur in the fall and spring. Mock Trial is a 9-12 activity open to students interested in the legal system. Through this courtroom simulation, students from schools across Sussex County assume the positions of lawyers and witnesses in a trial. Meetings typically start in the fall. Advisers are Mr. Falkowski & Mr. DellaTorre.
