Personal Information (Required for Authentication & Profile):

• Profile photo (optional)

Trip Data:

• Images you upload to be used as trip cover images

• Trip details, itineraries, expenses, and packing lists

2. How we use your information

We use the collected information to: 

• Authenticate and identify users (via Firebase Authentication and Google Sign-In)

• Store and manage trip details, expenses, and packing information (via Firestore)

• Upload and display images such as profile pictures and trip cover photos (via Cloudinary)

• Send important updates and notifications (via Expo Notifications), such as trip join requests or acceptance alerts

• Improve the performance, reliability, and overall user experience of the App

3. Data Storage and Security 

• Authentication & User Data: Managed securely through Firebase Authentication and Firestore

• Images: Stored in Cloudinary, a trusted cloud image service provider

• Notifications: Sent via Expo Notifications, linked only to your device

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure 

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Data may only be shared in the following cases: 

• With third-party services that enable app functionality (Firebase, Cloudinary, Google Sign-In, Expo)
