Owens Food Court has lots of customizable options and nearly every station offers a plant-based main item! The build-your-own format of most of these places makes it super easy to choose exactly what's in your meals. Since most ordering is through Grubhub this semester, it can be a little tricky to verify ingredients in some of the dishes so if you're ever wanting to check, here is the link for Owen's dining guide! Hopefully the salad bar will be back eventually because it typically has an amazing mix of greens, beans, tofu, grain salads, fruits, and more!
Mediterranean bowl from Variabowl
Vegan Vegetable Stir-Fry from Wan
Impossible Santa Fe Crumble Quesadilla from Tazon
Variabowl: An exciting rotating menu of various themed bowls! A vegan protein is always offered and nearly all items you'd expect to be plant based are, even including some toss ups like the lentil dal, gigantes plaki, and salad mixes. Note that the naan flatbread and kimchi are not plant-based.
Wan: Jasmine rice & hakka noodles are both solid base choices and some vegetable-based stir fry should always be available! Be sure to add in some extra steamed broccoli!
Dish: Similarly to JP's Chop House and Fire Grill, keep an eye on the rotating menu here. If you're looking for some extra side veggies this is a good option but just watch out for butter!
Tazon: Impossible Meat & vegan cheddar cheese are available in addition to rice, beans, veggies, and guac! Get it in bowl or quesadilla form.
Frank's: A toasty loaded veggie sandwich is a must sometimes! Unlimited toppings are available, just remember to opt-out of adding cheese if you prefer!
Pops: Unfortunately you won't have much luck here finding a well-balanced meal but you can't go wrong with fries.
Ciotola: Pasta with marinara is the go-to here and the menu typically switches from offering marinated portobello mushrooms or eggplant as an add-on!
