Virginia Tech's AWM chapter is excited to host a one-day mini-symposium this spring.

Submit an abstract by February 20th, 2026 February 28th, 2026, if you would like to give a talk or present a poster. Abstract submissions are open to current undergraduate/graduate students and post-baccalaureate researchers in the mathematical sciences or a related area.
The AWM student chapter at VT is firmly committed to fostering an inclusive environment that enables a diverse community to be involved in and contribute to AWM activities. The AWM believes that all people with an interest in mathematics should be supported and encouraged to participate in the profession.

We are looking for volunteers to help with room set up, chairing sessions, lunch set up, and registration. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out this form by March 1st, 2026. Volunteers may also give a talk or present a poster.
