The Valley Stream Professional Development Center facilitates teacher-driven professional development based upon local needs, research, data and best practices by encouraging teacher leadership, facilitating growth of professional learning communities, collaborating with other professional development providers and modeling life-long learning for educators and students in order to promote increased student learning.

Policy Board Meetings are open to the public.
The meetings are held at Memorial Junior High School in our office, Rm. 051 on the first Monday of every month. Rm.051 is located in lower level at Memorial Junior High School.
The Policy Board is eager to offer professional development opportunities aligned to the needs of members of all four school districts. Please take a look at the offerings and use the course registration form posted below.
