Ingeniero White is a town and port in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located in the district of Bahía Blanca, 10 kilometers from the city of Bahía Blanca, the port complex covers 25 kilometers on the north coast of the Bahía Blanca estuary. It has a modern beaconing with 62 light buoys powered by solar energy.

The deep-water port of Ingeniero White is one of the main seaports in the country. The existence of the port promoted the settlement of industries in the area, forming one of the most important petrochemical poles in Argentina.

Mooring monobuoys

Between buoys 19 and 21 of the access channel there are two monobuoys for mooring oil tankers called Punta Ancla and Punta Cigüeña. They are linked to land by a 2,000-meter-long submarine pipeline that connects them with a pumping system, a tank farm, and an oil pipeline that carries the product to the city of La Plata, mainly. The buoys allow the loading and unloading of liquid fuels and the operation of large tankers due to the fact that the depth of the sector where they are installed reaches 65'.
