Web-design Workshop for beginners using WordPress
The VS Niketan College and Tech and Trendy collaborated to conduct a comprehensive and interactive workshop on web design for beginners using WordPress on the 23rd and 24th of February, 2023. The workshop was held at the VS Niketan College premises and was completely free of charge.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce participants to the world of web design and provide hands-on experience in using WordPress, a popular and user-friendly content management system. Participants were taught how to create, manage, and publish their own website using WordPress, as well as how to customize their website with different themes, plugins, and widgets.
The workshop was conducted by experienced web designers and developers who shared their insights and expertise with the participants. The sessions were designed to be interactive and participatory, allowing attendees to ask questions and learn by doing. Participants also had the opportunity to work on real-world projects and receive feedback from the instructors.
Whether you're a complete beginner or have some basic knowledge of web design, this workshop was a great opportunity to enhance your skills and learn about the latest trends and techniques in the field. In addition, the workshop provided a platform for networking and learning from peers, which is invaluable for anyone looking to advance their web design career.

"Competition is the best form of motivation" We, VSN IT CLUB, are really excited to finally announce our upcoming event i.e. INTER-COLLEGE WEB DESIGN COMPETITION. The competition is going to be held on the 11th of mangsir, 2079 (27th November, 2022) i.e. Sunday at VS Niketan School, Santinagar, Kathmandu. NOTE 1: Languages allowed: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. NOTE 2: The theme will be announced right before the beginning of the event. NOTE 3: Candidates should present their design in front of judges. Interested candidates are requested to fill up the form as per the following details: 1. The registration fee for a team(each including 3 members) is Rs. 3000 and for the solo participant is Rs.1500 (Students of grade 11 and 12(management, science & A-levels) are allowed) 2. Every participant will be provided a certificate of participation and swags too. 3. Deadline for the form submission is the 30th of Kartik, 2079. Following the success of our graphic design workshop, the VSN IT Club has created a competition for imaginative and enthusiastic students. Your design should have the Dashain festival as its theme. Participants must submit their Rs100 entry fee by September 18th, and you have until September 20th to submit your graphic ideas. In order to take into consideration late contributions, we will extend the voting period by a few days. The contributions will also be scored by the judges at this time. Best of luck to all the participants, hope you beat the urge to procrastinate and come up with something that will amaze the world, happy designing! ?
