VRTUE emerged from 3 goofs jamming in a basement in 2021.

2022 & 2023 hosted their first exercises in original composition and DIY production.
2024 saw the beginnings of a new Chicago band earning its stripes performing in the local scene.
2025 cultivated the synthesis of alternative, funk, indie, and punk sensibilities that has never left their purview.

the focus revolves around interwoven melodies and grooves paired with literal themes of existence, tomfoolery and connection.
