We will be seeking out and evaluating various kinds of virtual reality software related to data visualization and documenting our findings into a wiki. The goal of the wiki is to give future VR research developers a way to easily navigate the field, and to identify shortcomings that need to be fixed as the field continues to grow.

Prerequisites

While there are no strict prerequisites, programming experience will be useful, especially when following and creating tutorials later in the class.

Completing Hours

While there is no strict deadlines for logging hours , the goal is to have 140 hours by the end of the semester, with 10 hours as a recommended guideline so that you don't end up getting overwhelmed by an obscene amount of hours by the end of the course.

Accessibility

We understand that not all students in our class may have access to laptops to complete assignments. In the case that you need a computer, please visit the IT service center on the 5th floor of Page-Robinson Hall (formerly JWW).
