Monday 08/19/24 Posted in Google Classroom: Go spend time outside. At least 30 minutes. Maybe take a walk with your family, play with your friends outside. Spend some time outside while it's nice and cool.
Get some rest tonight, and be ready to go on Tuesday. See you guys tomorrow.

There will be an assignments on ReadWorks, and assignments on I-Ready Math.

On occasions where devices or online resources are not available, PDF versions of various workbooks will be utilized. They will also be posted in our Google Classroom.

The Readworks assignments are intended to expand vocabulary, as well as improve reading comprehension. There is a text to read, along with multiple choice questions and short answer questions to complete on these assignments. My expectation is for every student to score at least an 86% on each of these assignments.

The I-Ready Math assignments are intended to be an extension of what is covered in class, as well as serve as intervention instruction for students. These assignments vary and can be different each day. There is a "lecture" or "instruction" aspect that must be played and listened to. After that there is a quiz to check for understanding afterward. I-Ready requires every student to "Pass" each assignment with a score of at least a 67%. Students are to take the quiz until they "Pass".Â
