Ever since the initial announcement of VRC on mobile, I've been hyped for more accessible social experiences, sure a pair of AR glasses and a controller may not be most people's idea of a full VR experience, but given the number of people who have enjoyed this game PC-only, it's still a pretty good option.

Checking back on the date VRC mobile was announced, things started to seem a little fishy, given it was announced on 31st March. So, for VRC+ members, has there been any updates, since I understand VRC+ members get access to the feature first

Even allowing for separate mobile v. cross-platform lobbies would not help; you would still have significant malicious client vulnerabilities from Quest such as mass auto-rippers that used to plague VRC.

I'm not inherently opposed to the idea of mobile VRChat, because it would be cool to keep in touch with friend groups when not able to do VR or to test Quest avatars without a Quest headset. I am just being realistic about what sort of community and impact happens to any and every game that opens up to f2p mobile, and that these impacts would be greatly disrupting to a currently primarily VR game.

Plus, mobile VRChat would be a pretty nifty VRC+ bonus. It would minimize the amount of kids. It would allow for malicious client risk to be minimized and more manageable. It means bans can't be as easily circumvented. It means the population will remain majority VR, operating more as a desktop version of Quest rather than an unwelcome invasion.

more vrchat users prevents actual vr adoption as obviously those who get into vrchat, are EXTREMELY into it and never step out of their vrchat safety bubble. nearly no games ever allows you to fully customize your avatar with custom models; making entirety of non-vrchat absolutetly obsolete to these tailwigglers.

your username screams absolute weebly/furr monstrosity. and a single quick google search points to a youtube channel with your username with a bunch of furry videos. that is some extremely embarassing shit and 100% belongs to you. you are hard trying to portray vrchat into something it really is not. vrchat is the tiktok of vr.

No need to extrapolate man, PC modding is right at the core of PC gaming since day 1. Its not extrapolating anything, its just one of the pros that PC have for enthusiasts over consoles or mobile VR HMDs.

I'm trying to port over an avatar but the only shader that supports transparency proper for the Quest is alpha blended. (multiply and additive both look completely wrong) its in the vrchat/mobile folder so I don't know why its being rejected.

On my Oculus Quest 1 using it stand alone mobile (not connected to PC and no Quest link) the mic was working properly in VRChat for 2 weeks and now during a game, after teleporting through a portal to "the airport" the mic stopped working, nobody can hear me and the mic icon does not change colour. It still works in other games like "Gorilla tag" so it does not sound like a hardware problem to me. Before I get 1,000 comments stating the obvious I have tried the following........ The mic is enabled in the Oculus setup(and as I said it works in other games), It is not muted in VRChat and I tried toggling the mic always on setting, everything is enabled in the VRChat setup, the safety/privacy settings are all set to allow everything, the mic volume slider is at max in VRChat setup but there is no indication that the mic is active because I can't see the green sound bar below the volume slider when I speak. I have deleted and reinstalled VRChat, no change. I have factory reset the Quest 1 and reinstalled VRChat and still not working. Any more serious suggestions? It is very frustrating and disappointing because I bought the Quest specifically for my daughter to use VRChat which is useless without being able to actually "chat". Hopefully someone out there has discovered something that I have missed.

A mid-range smartphone with 6 gigabytes of RAM is enough to start. Those with less than the minimum requirements won't even be able to download the app. "Since the Meta Quest runs Android, any world or avatar that works on Quest loads just fine on Android mobile," the developer blog states.

Things get more complicated with user-created worlds and content. Many should run on mobile by themselves. Others with more complex controls require some modification. The team is currently fine-tuning an appropriate implementation for creators using in-house programming language "Udon".

VRChat Mobile Is Now Available In Alpha On Android. And so is Meta Horizons. You have to be cross platform, you have to be on mobile. Horizon mobile so far only supports worlds that have specifically added support for mobile devices. RecRoom exploded when it was released on game consoles and mobile two years ago.

VRChat Droid is a mobile game application developed by SoulCastry. In this free game, you can have an adventure inside a virtual world. Here, you can have fun playing while chatting with other people via the voice chat features.

VRChat Droid plays similarly to the popular VRChat game. It lets you interact with others using your created 3D avatars and worlds. However, while VRChat is for virtual reality devices, this one's for mobile. However, players should know that the game is still in the beta stage. It currently has limited maps and comes with a few issues.

VRChat Droid is a similar game that aims to bring the virtual world experience to mobile users. As per its description, it offers an online world that you can explore using your avatar. It also offers a voice chat feature, allowing you to connect with other players. However, unlike VRChat, what it provides is pretty limited. It only has a few maps and even comes with a few issues.

Based on its developer's description, VRChat Droid seems to be a good mobile alternative for players who are looking for a mobile virtual world. However, players will be disappointed to know that all its promised features are not working. You cannot even log in and create your avatar at the moment. You also cannot explore any maps. Even the online beta does not provide anything.

VRChat claims to be working on a mobile app. Assuming it turns out this is real software, when will it actually become available for download by general users? Resolves even if not on an app store, and even if payment-gated, as long as anyone can decide to download it and get access without waiting for approval from a human. 2351a5e196
