By downloading or using Vrata ("the App"), you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Vrata is a Hindu fasting companion app that provides tithi calculations, lunar calendar data, fasting guidance, recipes, and grocery lists. All astronomical calculations are performed on-device.

2. Subscriptions

Vrata Pro is available as a monthly ($2.99/month) or annual ($29.99/year) auto-renewable subscription. A 1-week free trial is available for the annual plan.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

• Subscription automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

• No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

Tithi times, festival dates, and lunar calculations are computed using astronomical algorithms and are approximate. They may vary slightly from regional panchangs. The App is intended as a spiritual companion, not as an authoritative religious calendar. Always consult your local pandit or panchang for precise ceremonial timings.

4. Dietary Information

Fasting guidance, recipes, and grocery suggestions are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical or nutritional advice. Consult a healthcare professional before fasting, especially if you have medical conditions.

5. User Data

All personal data, including fasting history and preferences, is stored locally on your device. Vrata does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code in Vrata are the property of Biosync. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vrata is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Biosync is not liable for any damages arising from use of the App.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Biosync ("we", "us") built Vrata as a privacy-first application. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number).

• We do not track your location. Location data is used on-device only to calculate sunrise/sunset times and is never transmitted.

• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.

• We do not share any data with third parties.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Fasting history and streaks

• App preferences and settings

• Subscription status (managed by Apple)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

3. Location Data

Vrata requests location access solely to calculate accurate sunrise, sunset, and Brahma Muhurta times for your area. Location data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to any server. If you deny location access, the app defaults to Ujjain, India for calculations.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

5. Children's Privacy

Vrata does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Third-Party Services

Vrata does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

7. Data Deletion
