Exploring Packaging & Print Design
Box Designs
Made in Adobe Illustrator
Backstory:
I started by designing a twisted leaf illustration. After creating the leaf, I realized it would be a perfect element for a box design. With some research and inspiration from different artworks, I refined the idea and finalized it into a complete box design.
Art Style & Flow:
Clean, modern minimalistic layout with smooth curves guiding the eye across the box.
Subtle flow lines/elements create a sense of movement and freshness, matching the theme of shampoo.
Balanced spacing between logo, product name, and description ensures readability and elegance.
Overall design feels airy, light, and refreshing, avoiding clutter.
Metallic box with effects
This metallic box design demonstrates advanced print finishing techniques. I prepared the production separations for two effects: a metallic layer to create reflective surfaces beneath the artwork, and a UV drip-off layer to add contrasting gloss and matte textures. Combining these effects in one design required precise separation setup, ensuring each finish registered correctly and enhanced the overall premium look of the packaging.
