About us

VR Academia (VRアカデミア) is a community promoting academic and educational activities using virtual (i.e. fictional) characters and VR technologies with a hashtag #VRアカデミア.

VR Academia encourages the following activities:

- Uploading lecture videos of academic contents by virtual characters and avatars on video sharing services (e.g., Youtube, niconico)

- Streaming live lectures using an avatar in streaming services (e.g., YouTube live, VRchat, cluster.)

- Creating academic or educational contents that use VR technologies (e.g., education using VR technologies to visualize the phenomenon of nature or object of commentary)

- Cooperating among creators with the above contents

VR Academia recommends that the participants to use a hashtag “VRアカデミア” on academic and educational contents. If you are interested in our projects, you can search the contents of participants with the tag “VRアカデミア” on the internet (e.g., YouTube, Twitter).

Upload your contents with VR Academia tag and you'll be our teacher. Watch our contents with VR Academia tag and you'll be our student.
